Cao has joined NewsPicks, a digital aggregated news product.
Cao covered New York tech companies such as IBM and Etsy and the New York tech scene for Bloomberg. She was particularly interested in the areas of e-commerce, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. She also covered oil markets and the insurance and auto industries for Bloomberg.
She has degrees from Yale University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
