Bloomberg names new bureau chiefs in Chicago, San Fran and Miami

BloombergBloomberg editor in chief John Micklethwait announced Tuesday that new bureau chiefs in three news bureaus have been appointed to replace bureau chiefs who have been promoted to other roles within Bloomberg.

They are:

Elizabeth Campbell has been named bureau chief in Chicago. Previously, she was a reporter on the state and municipalities team in Chicago. She will replace Flynn McRoberts, who has been Chicago bureau chief since 2009, and is now managing editor of U.S. bureaus East and projects and investigations deputy editor.

Kara Wetzel has been named bureau chief of San Francisco. She previously was a team leader for real estate coverage in the Americas based in San Francisco, will replace Jeff Taylor, who has been bureau chief since 2007. Taylor is now managing editor for the West Coast.

Jonathan Levin has been named bureau chief of Miami. Previously, he was a reporter for Latin America M&A based in Rio de Janeiro. He will replace Bill Faries, who will become a team leader for national security in Washington.
