Bloomberg Television announced Monday the launch of “Bloomberg Markets: China Open,” a morning program from its new television studio in Beijing.

Tom Mackenzie will be anchoring the show from Beijing, and Yvonne Man and David Ingles will be co-anchoring from Hong Kong.

In addition to opening a new television studio in Bloomberg’s Beijing bureau, a new studio is also being constructed in its Shanghai bureau that will be operational soon.

“Our viewers are looking for market moving insights from our news reporters and experts in China who understand the rich complexities of its markets,” said Al Mayers, head of Bloomberg TV and Radio, in a statement. “By building a talented team and growing our coverage locally, we are bringing transparency and market intelligence to the world’s second-largest economy, a testament to our commitment to China and its transformational growth.”

Bloomberg Television’s lineup of Asia morning programming also includes “Bloomberg Daybreak: Australia,” “Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia” and “Bloomberg Markets: Asia.”

Bloomberg.com recently launched “Next China,” a new content hub across its digital properties tracking the global story of China.

There is also a new Next China newsletter, a weekly dispatch from Bloomberg’s John Liu in Beijing.
