Maria Bartiromo, who joined Fox Business Network earlier this year after 20 years at CNBC, is lining up some big interviews for her shows, reports Claire Atkinson of the New York Post.

Atkinson writes, “Bartiromo celebrated her new job a few days ago at the home of friend and media consultant Michael J. Wolf.

“Bartiromo told guests she highly recommends a career change for all — after spending 20 years as the face of CNBC.

“Guests included the New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who chatted pleasantly with former AIG boss Hank Greenberg; Third Point hedge-fund boss Dan Loeb looked relaxed in jeans while he chatted about what news channels he favors. Discovery Communications boss David Zaslav and his wife, Pamela, discussed the merits of Twitter. Zaslav helped champion Bartiromo’s talent when he ran NBCU cable.

“A host of New Yorkers showed up to wish Bartiromo luck, from Washington Post heir Lally Weymouth to PR CEO Richard Edelman and the man who makes Roger Ailes look good, Paul Rittenberg, executive vice president of ad sales at Fox News.”
