WSJ 2017The Wall Street Journal is looking for an experienced reporter to help drive our corporate coverage of the telecommunications industry, including household names like Verizon and Sprint.

It’s a fast-moving industry where once-clear lines are blurring as megamergers reshape the competitive landscape and regulations like net neutrality are rewritten.

The ideal candidate for this role is capable of developing sources to break news on these closely watched and complex companies. This person must also think broadly about the industry to conceive and deliver ambitious enterprise stories.

We are looking for someone versatile with digital storytelling and eager to connect with readers across platforms. The reporter must be able to juggle multiple demands and collaborate with other Journal reporters in New York, San Francisco and around the globe.

This is a high-profile beat that is core to our business coverage with opportunities, and expectations, for big scoops and high-impact stories. This position is based in New York.
