WSJ markets pageThe Wall Street Journal is seeking a senior markets editor to take charge of real-time markets coverage in Asia — one of our most exciting and dynamic areas of coverage during these volatile times.

The job involves managing a team of several reporters and an editor, who are responsible for everything from flashing big market moves to live blogs and smart daily stories when turmoil hits.

The editor will also have primary responsibility in Asia for Market Talks – short, smart, analytical takes on market developments and movements that provide a running commentary on what’s happening in stocks, bonds, currencies and commodities.

That involves ensuring we have a steady volume of high-quality contributions, both from the markets team and reporters throughout the region, as well as making sure the Market Talks are edited in a timely fashion.

We are looking for someone with newswires and market-reporting or -editing experience, as well as managerial experience.

Dow Jones offers an opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading financial and business news companies.

We invite interested candidates to submit a cover letter and detailed resume (including up to five published samples of your work), current and expected salary here.
