WSJ seeks news editor for central banks coverage

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an enterprising journalist to work with our Global Central Banks Editor and reporters to coordinate global coverage of central banks.

This person will help prioritize coverage, edit breaking news and manage publishing logistics.

The job will involve working with our web producer and other editors to curate our central banks pages, working with editors to quickly alert readers to news and working at the direction of the Global Central Banks Editor develop strong visual, video and social media elements.

This job would be based in New York.

Qualifications: We are looking for someone with strong news judgment, editing ability and digital skills. The ideal candidate would have experience covering markets and economics, and working well with others. Experience covering central banking would be a plus.
