WSJ seeks metals and commodities reporter

January 21, 2016

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal is looking for a high-energy reporter to cover gold, copper and other metals during an historic commodities rout for online, print and other platforms.

The ideal candidate will be able to explain how seismic global forces such as China’s slowing growth and the soaring dollar drive market prices and ripple through the global economy.

This person will break news on the traders, lenders and institutional investors who scored big or suffered when the metals boom turned bust, and write quirky features about how metals markets affect our daily lives.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
