WSJ seeks “market maniac” reporter in London

December 28, 2015

Posted by Chris Roush

The Wall Street Journal seeks a reporter for a two-person team of fast-metabolism, digital-first market chroniclers in London.

They’ll produce inventive, high-intellect coverage of markets and the things that move them–as they happen. This particular reporter will be a Data Maniac: one who feeds on data and can present it smartly in words and charts. Coding experience is extremely desirable.

Know your way around Python and pandas? We’ll have a lot of fun. We’re seeking a balance of markets enthusiasm and data enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will combine both, but we’d also be open to a data/coding maniac enthused about learning markets, or a market maniac enthused about developing data skills.
