WSJ seeks editor on finance news desk

The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced editor to join the Finance News Desk.

The ideal candidate has experience covering markets and an understanding of the broader banking landscape. This digital savvy editor will need to play a critical role in making our stories resonate with readers online and be able to edit complex stories for the Money & Investing section, as well as page 1 of the print edition. Familiarity with our style and standards are required, as the job entails final decision-making on some of our most high-profile news stories.

The person will also need to be able to communicate with graphics, photo and other departments to ensure a story is visually compelling and given correct social placement. At its core, the job is about having the proper news judgment to ensure a Money & Investing story geared toward core readers is smartly edited and presented so that every reader can understand the importance.
