WSJ seeks digital producer for economics/central banking coverage

New WSJ websiteThe Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau is seeking an enterprising digital producer to join our Global Economics and Pro Central Banking team.

The producer will work alongside our economics editors to shape and execute a wide-ranging digital strategy. Duties include curating our economy and central banking pages on WSJ.com, managing social media accounts, conducting analyses of digital traffic and audience engagement, coordinating photos and graphics and advancing our reach through creative use of newsletters, events, video, audio and other tools. The producer will help administer other Pro initiatives, including playing a central role in organizing and promoting conferences and events, and assist in other bureau-wide digital missions.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a proven flair for innovation, a strong understanding of economics, an eye for enlivening stories with graphics and experience deploying other multimedia and interactive tools online. Strong organizational skills and a record of collaboration on projects are critical.
