WSJ seeks courts reporter in New York

March 15, 2016

Posted by Chris Roush

The courts reporter covers criminal justice news in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut for the Greater New York section and for the national editions of The Wall Street Journal.

Of particular importance are the U.S. attorneys in the region, the Manhattan and Brooklyn district attorneys, and the top courts in each state.

The reporter covers — and uncovers — stories at the early stages of investigations, through indictments, trials and appeals. In addition to breaking news, enterprise reporting on the beat consists of spotting people and trends to highlight for WSJ readers, ahead of the competition.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
