WSJ seeks aviation/Boeing reporter

New WSJ AsiaThe Wall Street Journal is looking for an enterprising reporter to join its aviation team with a focus on covering Boeing, one of America’s most important companies.

The job requires close coverage of the company’s performance, products and culture, including everything from new thinking on airliners to labor policy.

The successful candidate will be expected to break significant news, offer sharp analysis on broad themes and deliver smart enterprise on a regular basis.

As a crucial member of the aviation team, the successful candidate will also be expected to become an expert on the sector broadly and to contribute meaningful insight and reporting when news breaks anywhere in the industry. Strong collaboration skills are a must, as this reporter will be a key player on a team of aviation reporters around the globe.

The role will also include coverage of other commercial aerospace companies, as well as the regulatory environment in which they operate. Previous experience covering aviation or a corporate beat is a plus.
