The Wall Street Journal is seeking a hungry reporter to cover agricultural commodities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This person will work with a specialized commodities team around the world to drive coverage of the grains, oilseeds, coffee, sugar and cocoa markets mostly for our newswires platform. The reporter will look to break market-moving news that can inform our customers’ real-time trading and business decisions. He or she will write about major tenders by big buyers as well as the cash markets for those crops.

It will also require monitoring minute-by-minute moves in global commodities markets, talking to traders and investors to stay ahead of the curve. Ability to work under pressure, whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness, is essential. The position is based in London.

Please note only candidates requested for interview will be contacted.
