Washington Business Journal seeks tech reporter

The Washington Business Journal, an American City Business Journals newspaper, is looking for a technology reporter.

Here’s five reasons why you should apply:

1. It’s one of the coolest local business beats in Washington, D.C. You cover it all: the big, the not-so-big and the wannabe big!

2. The Washington Business Journal is growing! Our print and digital readership are up, and we’re actually — gasp! — investing in journalism.

3. We give you the freedom to be a journalist. Break news, add context, be an expert in the industry. And you can do it across all platforms: print, digital, video, events, panels and social media. Talk about making a name for yourself.

4. Chances are we’ll pay you a lot more than you’re making at your current job. And the benefits are to die for!

5. You get to wear jeans (well, most of the time), T-shirts and blazers. Hoodies and flip-flops are optional.

Really.

Send a resume and cover letter stating why you want the job and three creative approaches to stories to Editor-in-Chief Doug Fruehling at dfruehling@bizjournals.com.
