WSJ 2017The Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau is seeking an experienced reporter to join its White House team.

Responsibilities include tracking fast-moving news developments, and the political and policy forces that affect them. Candidates with knowledge and relationships with the White House are preferable, although hard-charging newcomers will also be considered.

This is highly demanding job that includes an ability to travel extensively and commitment to a time-consuming assignment.

A successful candidate will be expected to break significant news, offer sharp analysis on broad themes, and smart enterprise on a regular basis.

The ability to write cleanly and fast on deadline is also a requirement. Strong collaboration skills are a must, as this reporter will be a key player on a team of White House reporters who routinely interact with other Washington correspondents and those around the globe.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, and up to five published clips.
