The Triad Business Journal is seeking a dynamic reporter who is in journalism for the thrill that comes with breaking news daily, owning a beat and the satisfaction of writing meaningful enterprise and people-focused features.
The selected reporter will be covering real estate, construction and economic development — beats that yield a regular flow of important and highly read stories in our region. The reporter will contribute to our daily digital products as well as our weekly print edition.
Strong critical thinking skills; a deep commitment to story structure and clarity in writing; a devotion to source building; sharp interviewing skills; and a proactive, competitive approach to reporting are required.
