The Economist is looking for an investigative reporter to work at its headquarters in London.

Research and analytical skills, an ability to write informatively, succinctly and wittily, and insatiable curiosity are essential. Prior investigative experience would be an advantage.

Applicants should send a CV, a brief letter introducing themselves and an article of about 600 words that they think would be suitable for publication in the business section to investigatejob@economist.com.

The closing date for applications is July 1, 2016.
