The successful candidate will cover China’s huge auto industry as well as the related changes in consumption patterns driven by innovations in technology and the shifting spending habits of the country’s near 1.4 billion people.
China’s car market, the world’s largest, is shifting gears to electric vehicles, hybrids and plug-ins, while support for autonomous driving is luring global carmakers and tech giants. Regulation is in flux, with strict emissions targets being brought in to help propel the EV market and cut urban smog.
