Politico Pro is looking for a smart, aggressive reporter to write our Morning Tech newsletter, the centerpiece of our coverage of technology policy and politics.
The ideal candidate possesses tech and/or telecommunications policy expertise, a passion for politics, an eye for the business impact of policy decisions and strong writing skills.
Experience covering Capitol Hill, the FCC, the FTC or other relevant agencies in Washington is a plus. In addition to helping the newsletter, this reporter will have the opportunity to write daily and breaking news stories as well as broader, conceptual articles.
What you’ll need:
- A good grasp of technology and telecom policy and/or politics at the professional level
- Established ability to write clearly and accurately on deadline
- Proven ability to break news and handle a demanding, fast-moving reporting job
