NY Times seeks corporate media reporter
The Media Desk has an opening for an energetic, creative reporter who will provide readers with a close look at the companies responsible for the media we consume, from news to Hollywood blockbusters.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the large media corporations, from Sinclair to AT&T and beyond, as well as the major players who make the decisions that drive the production of news and culture.
The successful applicant will also rise to the challenge of covering the ongoing mergers and changes in corporate ownership brought about, in part, by the rise of tech. In addition to breaking news, the reporter who takes this job will also have a knack for producing feature stories and analytical pieces.
