North Carolina paper seeks reporter to run weekly biz page

Screen Shot 2017-06-28 at 2.52.58 PMThe Carteret County News-Times, a three-times a week community newspaper on the state’s Crystal Coast, seeks a full-time staff reporter to cover general assignment, courts and crime, with responsibility for a once-a-week business page.

We’re looking for someone who can be a go-getter for news. We are community oriented and fill our publication with local content. We need someone who can report and shoot photos for print and digital platforms and work with our community.

The job requires attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and a knowledge of AP style. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and disability and living at the beach.
