Kiplinger’s Personal Finance seeks reporter

The Kiplinger Washington Editors, one of America’s most respected business and personal-finance publishers, is seeking a bright, motivated individual for an entry-level research reporter position on our Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine staff.

The reporter will fact-check articles for the magazine and Kiplinger.com Web site, provide research and reporting assistance to writers, and contribute content to the magazine and Kiplinger.com Web site.

Applicant must have a B.A. in journalism or related field. Excellent fact-checking and research skills required, plus attention to grammar, spelling and syntax. Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills.

Must be able to work well as part of a team under deadline pressure. Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, are essential. Familiarity with database applications and social media is a plus.
