jacksonville-business-journal.0e89101eThe Jacksonville Business Journal is looking to hire a newsroom researcher.

This person is responsible for our signature Top 25 lists, which cover a range of industries and topics such as the city’s biggest employers, its largest banks, the highest paid athletes in the market and more. The researcher also works with reporters and editors in turning that research into articles, graphics and more.

Doing the job requires a great attention to detail, a persistence in gathering information, a sense of creativity in finding sources (both people and digital) and some skill in writing.

The Jacksonville Business Journal is a daily online publication with a weekly print edition. As part of the American Cities Business Journals, we and our 42 sister papers make up the No. 1 source of local business news in the country.

If you blend conscientiousness with creativity and don’t like taking “no” for an answer, we’d like to hear from you. Send your resume to JBJ Editor-in-Chief Timothy Gibbons at tgibbons@bizjournals.com
