The International Business Times is seeking a senior writer to help lead our coverage of technology, social media, gadgets, innovation and science.

It’s a competitive beat: we’re looking for a deeply-sourced, versatile reporter who can break meaningful news on companies like Apple, Google and Facebook as well as step back and write agenda-setting features that make sense of this fast-moving world.

The ideal candidate brings financial literacy, a vibrant social platform, and the desire to write about the companies and personalities driving innovation, as well as the societal shifts taking place as a result of tech-driven change.

International Business Times is a fast-growing, digital-first new organization based in Manhattan, but with bureaus all over the world. At least five years of experience is required; the job can be based in New York City or San Francisco.

Interested applicants should send a cover letter, clips and resume to Mark Bonner at m.bonner@ibtimes.com. Subject line should read, “SENIOR TECH REPORTER.”
