CNBC.com seeks visual journalists

CNBC is looking for a visual journalist to design and develop graphics, interactive features and web applications for CNBC.com.

The visual journalist will work with a small team in the CNBC newsroom, using information design and web development to help readers explore and understand the data behind the news.

Qualifications/Requirements

– The ideal candidate will have experience with:
– front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and Javascript;
– data visualization libraries like Raphael, D3, processing;
– and mapping tools such as TileMill, QGIS, TopoJSON
– Must be able to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ
– Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
