Bloomberg Television seeks a line producer

Bloomberg TelevisionBloomberg Television is looking for an experienced Line Producer to join our programming team.

In addition to planning and coordinating a daily two-hour program in cooperation with their EP and anchors, responsibilities will include broadly leading segment producers, as well as working with editorial leaders, bookers and directors on settling content and look of the program.

You will have solid understanding, experience and knowledge of financial and business news and a minimum of three years industry experience. You will also have the ability to thrive under the pressure of deadlines and breaking news!

You’ll be able to:

  • Collaborate with anchors and reporters
  • Staff and line produce a live daily program in a control room
  • Build and run all graphical and production elements
  • Write and copy editing multiple hours of programming
  • Segment produce, or assist in the control room as needed

You’ll need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Line Producer
  • Consistent track record of experience in news producing
  • Experience of working in a live TV news environment essential
  • Strong writing and edit supervising skills
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel (including nights, weekends and holidays)
  • A highly collaborative, and creative
  • Willingness to take initiative, dedicated to the success of the digital production team
