Bloomberg seeks stocks editor in New York

Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced editor for its U.S. Stocks team in New York.

The editor will be responsible for stories about the movements of the major equity benchmarks (S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average), interviews with prominent money managers and investment strategists, and breaking news on stock exchanges and electronic trading venues.

The ideal candidate will also have several years of experience editing feature stories, at least five years of experience in business journalism, and be able to produce clear, concise and accurate copy under deadline pressure. The editor will also be expected to serve as a mentor and coach to reporters and should be comfortable working within a team environment.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
-Knowledge of the economy, financial markets, and business
-Minimum of five years of experience in business journalism
