Bloomberg seeks corporate finance reporter in Hong Kong

Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter based in Hong Kong to cover corporate finance markets in Hong Kong and across Asia.

Successful candidates will be expected to produce breaking news stories on the corporate bond market, both U.S. dollar and local currency, under real-time deadlines. Covering these fast-changing markets that determine funding for companies requires journalists who can cut through technical jargon and write the news in a clear, concise and understandable way.

The job also includes using Bloomberg data to analyze the primary and secondary debt markets for weekly features, as well as profiling policy markers, traders, strategists and investors.

The Qualifications

– Financial news experience is essential
– Experience in reporting on or writing about corporate finance markets is strongly preferred
– Ability to write clear, concise and accurate news stories
– Experience of working in a real-time news environment is desirable
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential
– Journalism qualification is desirable
– Fluency in English is a must
