Bloomberg News is seeking reporters for its Energy, Environment and Commodities team in China.

Based in Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong, the reporters will be required to break market-moving news, write the day’s news with authority, and deliver agenda-setting and memorable features on some of China’s biggest companies. We’d like to speak to candidates with experience in covering one or more of the following industries: oil and gas, nuclear or clean energy, mining and metals, food and agriculture.

In addition to a fantastic track record of scoops and insightful enterprise stories, the reporters should demonstrate a strong understanding of the policy and environmental issues that shape China’s resources industry. Candidates should be enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible, with the facility to develop the superior sourcing that can produce sharp insight on fast-breaking stories and deep analysis of emerging trends.
