Bloomberg News is seeking a Bureau Chief in Seoul to oversee coverage of South Korea’s financial markets, economy, companies and banks, as well as politics across the peninsula.
The successful candidate will manage and inspire reporters with the goal of making Bloomberg’s coverage the most influential in the country.
The individual must be driven and used to operating in a challenging environment. They must be able to write and edit clear and comprehensive stories with a proven ability to regularly break news and produce enterprise pieces.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required
-Previous business journalism experience is essential
-Experience of working in a real-time news environment
-Fluency in Korean would be welcome but isn’t required
