WSJ to provide content from Hispanic edition to Yahoo! Telemundo

The Wall Street Journal announced Wednesday that it will provide some of its editorial content of its Hispanic edition to the Yahoo! Telemundo site.

Wall Street JournalA release stated, “The articles will include specially edited Journal features on personal finance, health, small business, personal technology, travel and careers.

Telemundo to introduce its audience to The Wall Street Journal’s renowned expertise and editorial perspective that no other publisher offers,’ said Jennifer Ametrano, managing director of sales for The Wall Street Journal, Latin America & US Hispanic. ‘This is consistent with our strategy of extending our premier content and brands to new audiences across all channels that consumers desire,’ added Tim DeSoto, licensing manager for The Wall Street Journal.

“Select articles from several sections in The Wall Street Journal, including the Weekend Journal, Personal Journal and Marketplace, will appear on Yahoo! Telemundo’s Personal Finance section, ‘Tu Dinero,’ and will be freely accessible to users. In Tu Dinero, users will be able to find practical information on a wide array of finance topics that impact their everyday life, from career advice to tips on managing one’s credit or finding leisure activities when on a budget. These articles, translated and adapted for the Hispanic market, add a new dimension to the content offerings of Yahoo! Telemundo Finanzas through the unique insight and analysis from The Wall Street Journal.”
