WSJ giving away chance to report on World Economic Forum

December 22, 2009

The Wall Street Journal and MySpace are giving away, for the second year, a trip to Davos, Switzerland for someone to report on the World Economic Forum next year.

The deadline to apply is Jan. 11. The winner will attend private meetings with Wall Street Journal editors and News Corp. executives, and get a chance to syndicate their MySpace blog on WSJ.com.

In addition, they will report on their experience through writing and videos on both sites.

People can enter the competition at myspace.com/myspacejournal. Entrants are expected to submit a video, explaining why they are qualified to be the MySpace community’s special correspondent

The winner will be selected from a panel of judges that includes Journal managing editor Robert Thomson. Note that the site misspells Thomson’s last name.
