WSJ digital editor promoted to Dow Jones job

Tracy CorriganDow Jones & Co. chief executive officer William Lewis sent out the following announcement to the staff on Friday:

Dear Colleague,

I am delighted to share with you that Tracy Corrigan has been appointed as Director of Strategy for Dow Jones. In this role, working across our businesses globally, she will develop and implement strategy and ensure that we remain on track in pursuit of our company goals.

Tracy has served as Digital Editor for The Wall Street Journal since June 2013, having moved to New York from London following two years as the Journal’s Editor in Chief, Europe. She will begin the new role on December 1, reporting to me and and working within the Office of the CEO.

Prior to joining Dow Jones, Tracy was a columnist for The Daily Telegraph in London and previously held several senior roles at the Financial Times, including editor of FT.com and editor of the Lex column. Her newsroom and digital experience will provide invaluable insight and help generate new ideas as we collectively navigate our digital and global future.
