WNYW, Fox’s flagship TV station, names business reporter

Alison Morris has been named business reporter of WNYW, which is Fox Broadcasting Co.’s flagship station in New York.

A story on TVNewsCheck states, “She will report for the station’s 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.

“Most recently, Morris was an anchor for WTIC in Hartford, Conn. She started working in Connecticut as a weekend anchor and consumer reporter for both WTIC and The Hartford Courant. Prior to that, she spent five years as a general assignment reporter for KDKA Pittsburgh.

“Morris began her career in Paris, France, where she wrote for the Wall Street Journal Europe and reported on the French Stock Market (The CAC-40) for CNBC Europe.”
