Wired journalists in UK now doing consulting

Samantha Conti of Women’s Wear Daily writes about how the journalists who work for the British edition of Wired are now going to offer consulting services.

Conti writes, “Condé Nast U.K. said Thursday that Wired Consulting will be a bespoke business consultancy, sharing its ‘access and insight on the techniques, technologies, and people driving change.’ The aim is to enable businesses to develop future strategies.

“Editor in chief David Rowan said the editors at Wired are learning more from their interviewees — designers, entrepreneurs, and technologists — than they can fit into the magazine. ‘So now we are taking that knowledge to help businesses plan ahead, based on the insights and data on which Wired’s reputation is built.’

“Condé Nast said Wired Consulting will offer a range of services, including trend presentations, full-day and half-day workshops and bespoke projects.”
