Bryan HamiltonBryan Hamilton, Triangle Business Journal publisher since 2011, has resigned from the position to start a creative agency with his brother just outside of Philadelphia.

Jason DeBruyn of the Journal writes, “Hamilton will stay with the news publication through June. Mike Olivieri, executive vice president of American City Business Journals, the TBJ parent company, will help lead the search for a successor.

“‘As business journalists we love entrepreneurs, and as a family-oriented company, we understand why Bryan is drawn to be near family,’ says Olivieri. ‘Bryan has been a strong publisher in Raleigh and we wish him much success in his new endeavor.’

“Hamilton’s career with ACBJ stretches back to 2004, when he was hired as an advertising account executive with the Orlando Business Journal.

“‘Mike Olivieri and I will begin interviewing candidates to succeed Bryan soon,’ said ACBJ President and CEO Whitney Shaw. ‘We wish Bryan much success and appreciate his contributions to ACBJ over the past 11 years.'”
