Jane Little will be joining the news team at the Triad Business Journal as its new data reporter on Nov. 27.

Little, a self-described “numbers geek,” is a graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Media & Journalism. A Charlotte native, she held internships at the Charlotte Agenda and The Charlotte Observer and was city desk editor at The Daily Tar Heel, where she managed a desk of 25 student reporters.

The TBJ’s new data reporter position is an updated role, combining responsibility for our proprietary list material as well as data-heavy projects across multiple beats.

“With Jane’s skills, we’re taking the opportunity to enhance the research role at the TBJ into a reporting position that will lead our newsroom’s data-driven content,” editor-in-chief Rebecca Troyer said. “She will investigate and write compelling local business news while also compiling our high-profile and consistently award-winning investigative research projects and lists.”

Triad Business Journal is one of 43 American City Business Journals markets, covering business news in the Triad region of North Carolina, including the Greensboro-High Point, Winston-Salem and Alamance County metros.
