thestreet_logo_black_bg_front_leadTheStreet.com has hired Nelson Wang, who recently joined the team as consumer editor, and Rebecca Borison, who joined as technology reporter.

Both are based out of TheStreet’s headquarters on Wall Street.

Wang, who served as senior editor at TheStreet.com over 13 years ago, rejoins the editorial team with a focus on consumer, restaurant and retail industries. He brings nearly two decades of financial news experience to the newsroom, having held positions at Yahoo.com, CBS MoneyWatch, Portfolio.com, Money.com and Smart Money.

Borison comes to TheStreet from Inc. where she worked as a staff writer. She previously wrote for Business Insider with a focus on technology. In her new position as technology reporter for TheStreet.com, Borison will cover e-commerce.

“Nelson and Rebecca are both strong additions to our newsroom team,” said Janet Guyon, editor in chief of TheStreet.com, in a statement. “Nelson brings a wealth of editorial experience in digital and will offer our audience critical insights into the consumer industries while Rebecca brings her keen tech lens to our e-commerce coverage.”
