For the past few weeks, I have been checking out a new service called Gorkana that is aimed toward public relations professionals but can also be useful for business journalists.
Each work day, Gorkana sends me an e-mail of people who have changed jobs in business and financial journalism. The listing includes the journalists phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
But Friday’s e-mail is one that business journalists would be interested in because it is a listing of available jobs in the industry. Today’s e-mail had dozens of listings in a variety of jobs at places ranging from American Banker to the New York Times.
If you’re interested in signing up for this service, go to the Gorkana web site or send them an e-mail at mail@gorkana.com. I’m finding it a valuable way to track the comings and goings in the industry.
Just some background: Gorkana has apparently been around in Europe for years, but just crossed the pond to begin providing this service in the States in the past year.
