May 14, 2008

The Myrtle Beach Sun News in South Carolina is dropping its Tuesday standalone Money section, according to an announcement from editor Trisha O’Connor.

Myrtle Beach Sun NewsO’Connor writes, “The Money section on Tuesdays will be found inside the Local section. In the Wednesday through Sunday editions, the Money section will continue to be a separate section. There is no Money section on Mondays.

“Our business coverage will continue to include stocks and mutual funds listings, commodities, the foreign currency chart as well as local and national news, stocks of local interest and personal finance information.

“Also, the Monday and Tuesday editions will no longer include a separate classified section. To locate the region’s largest classified inventory available anywhere, go to MyrtleBeachOnline.com anytime. The separate classified sections will continue to be included in each day’s edition of The Sun News Wednesday through Sunday.”
