She is a top-notch journalist, proven leader and teacher, and she brings a sensitivity and empathy to news coverage that is all too rare in our field.Vandana started at WBJ in 2006 as health care/biotech reporter and began editing special sections just a few years into her tenure. She previously worked as a business reporter at The Virginian-Pilot, the daily newspaper in Hampton Roads, and Government Computer News, then owned by The Washington Post Co. She was also a project manager and associate editor for the Donald W.
