Kevin Krolicki, Washington bureau chief for Reuters, sent out the following announcement on Tuesday:
I am sorry to announce that Alina Selyukh has chosen to leave Reuters for a new challenge.
Alina, who had covered tech policy since 2013, recently joined the Washington Speed Team where our hope was that Alina would pay a key role in our election coverage. Our loss is a gain for Washington-based NPR, where Alina will be joining their “All Tech Considered” project as it gets revamped and relaunched.
We will set a time for a proper send-off for Alina in the coming days. Her last day in the Washington bureau will be a week from Friday.
Please join me in wishing Alina all the best in the professional adventure that awaits.
