I am delighted to announce that we have hired a strong candidate to fill the New York position of Correspondent, Financial Regulation and Compliance.
Richard Satran will be starting on June 8 and can hit the ground running. He is returning to Thomson Reuters after a long career in Reuters News and additional financial journalism experience with Time Interactive, U.S. News and World Report, Fidelity Investments, CNBC and Wired.
He has managed startup enterprises in those assignments, and broken financial stories that have triggered congressional inquiries. As part of TR Regulatory Intelligence, Dick will contribute to our coverage of self-regulatory organizations, enforcement activities, policy making and professional practice. Dick edited much of my financial copy early in my career at Reuters. I am excited to be working with him once again and looking forward to his contributions to industry-leading news and analysis on our team.
