Vocativ chief operating officer Danna Rabin sent out the following announcement on Tuesday:

Hi All,

As Vocativ continues to expand its reach and grow its audience, we wanted to let you know about some management changes and other great news that we’re excited to announce as we head into 2017.

Ben Reininga has been promoted to Editor-In-Chief and will be leading the newsroom, editorial vision and content strategy for the site. He will also be working closely with Rich Tanner, Executive Producer, to continue Vocativ’s success in award-winning original video content across long form, mini digital docs and social video.

Jordan Jayson has been promoted to Publisher and will oversee Brand Marketing and Audience Development as well as distribution and revenue opportunities.

Rob Blatt has been promoted to Director of Audience reporting to Jordan. He will be focused on distribution platforms including the newsletter, social accounts and partnerships.

Jody Sieradzky has been promoted to Director of Product, reporting to Miri Cohen, VP Operations. She is working on building innovative new formats for us to be able to tell our stories.

Adi Kochavi has been promoted to President of Vocativ Films, as part of our move to grow and strengthen this organization alongside Vocativ.com. In addition to developing a pipeline of new programming for TV and Film, she has spearheaded the production of both seasons of our Showtime docu-series ‘Dark Net,’ using our proprietary technology to source stories and characters that show how technology impacts our lives. Season 2 will air in April. Adi will share her group structure and direction in the next few weeks.

We are currently working on an integrated content strategy and coverage plan for Dark Net across all of Vocativ’s touchpoints. Stay tuned: we’re preparing exciting launch activities for the show’s premiere.

And finally, I wanted to say a fond farewell and congratulations to Kelly Bourdet, who is moving on from Vocativ. We are happy for her continued success and know she will go on to do great things.

Thanks to all of you for your hard work and dedication. Vocativ has distinguished itself as a highly innovative and groundbreaking news platform and we are truly grateful to you all.

Best,
Danna
