Penny Hoarder personal finance column to run in Tampa Bay Times
The Tampa Bay Times will begin publishing The Penny Hoarder’s Dear Penny personal finance advice column beginning July 29.
The column will appear Sundays inside the business section and will feature a question-and-answer format.
Written by The Penny Hoarder’s personal finance expert Lisa Rowan, Dear Penny will address tricky money dilemmas submitted by readers.
The Penny Hoarder founded the Dear Penny series in early 2018 to help break down the stigma around talking about money and to further engage its readers with fun, approachable advice.
An online publication, The Penny Hoarder uses a variety of digital platforms to tell stories about real people and share actionable money-making and savings tips that make a difference in readers’ budgets.
This partnership represents the company’s first foray into print.
“We’re excited to collaborate with one of the nation’s best newspapers to publish this column,” said The Penny Hoarder’s managing editor John Schlander. “Dear Penny has really been striking a chord with readers.”
