Andy Andrews, who has more than 32 years of experience in business journalism, has been named the business editor of the Reading Eagle in Pennsylvania.

He replaces Karen Miller, who retired from the position earlier this year.

A story on its website states, “For 16 years, Andrews served as staff writer and then editor of Lancaster Farming Newspaper, published in Ephrata.

“His career began in 1982, when he joined Chilton Company in Radnor, Delaware County, then-publisher of 21 auto and engineering trade magazines. Andrews also worked for On-Line Publishers, Columbia, Lancaster County, including Lebanon County and Chester County Senior News.

“Andrews, a resident of Hershey, Dauphin County, recently served as Lancaster digital and print advertising sales representative for PA Media Group, publisher of the Patriot-News, Central PA Magazine and PennLive.com.

‘I’ve worked extensively with many business-centric publications, websites and expos,’ Andrews said. ‘The work of business editor is a natural extension of what I’ve been doing since 1990.’

“Andrews will edit Business Weekly, published Tuesdays by Reading Eagle since November 2011, and the daily Money pages.
