Pacific Coast Business TimesHenry Dubroff, the editor of the Pacific Coast Business Times, has hired a new managing editor and a new technology editor.

Dubroff writes, “Our staff changes begin with Managing Editor Glenn Rabinowitz. A 25-year veteran of the daily newspaper industry in California and more recently Colorado, Glenn joined our team in May.

He’s taken over the day-to-day news operations and the organization of our main news section and the management of our freelancers, winning the respect of all. He’s also leading the way on digital content initiatives while Special Reports Editor Chris Officer continues to skillfully helm our editorial calendar.

“Glenn impressed me from the start. He spent a number of years at the Ventura County Star earlier in his career and he has a wealth of knowledge about the region and about what it takes to have an award-winning publication.

“In June, Philip Joens, a graduate of the University of Missouri Journalism School, joined our team as technology editor.

“Philip brings terrific training and a lot of enthusiasm to the job but more than that he’s got a strong grounding in the business journal world, having worked last summer at the Los Angeles Business Journal. He’s also becoming part of our KCLU team.”
