John Koblin of the New York Observer reports Thuesday that New York Post business editor Jay Sherman is leaving for a job at rating agency Moody’s.
Koblin writes, “It is not clear what he’ll be doing there. He will be starting at Moody’s in about a month.
“This comes just two days after the news hit that his deputy, Sara Clemence, quietly left the paper last month. Peter Lauria, the business section’s media moguls reporter, left for the Daily Beast in March. Claire Atkinson was recently hired to join their media team, but Mr. Sherman was on the hunt for two media writers. We’ll see if that plan is still on.
“Many jobs to replace! Keith Kelly‘s desk is about to get a big makeover.”
