New editor at Worcester Biz Journal

Christina Davis was named the new editor of the Worcester Business Journal, succeeding Christina O’Neill, who will remain at the paper, according to a short item.

Christina DavisThe story stated, “Davis joined the Worcester Business Journal earlier this year as its senior editor. Prior to that, she worked for two years at Worcester Publishing Ltd.’s Connecticut newspaper, the Hartford Business Journal.

“‘Christina’s work for our company is best characterized as high-quality journalism punctuated with verve and wit,’ said WBJ Publisher Peter Stanton. “We’re looking forward to her enthusiasm for compelling business news and her involvement in the business community of Central Massachusetts.”

“Joining Davis as managing editor of the newspaper is Matthew L. Brown, an award-winning journalist with experience in both daily and weekly news organizations.

“Christina O’Neill will continue to work with the publication as a consulting editor, and will oversee a number of special editorial projects throughout the year.”
